John S. Wisniewski

Mr. Wisniewski brings considerable expertise to his areas of concentration: complex litigation, property tax appeals, land-use development and public/private investigations.

Relying on his extensive background in property tax appeals, he represents municipalities and the owners of large commercial and industrial properties. His experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in these matters offers a unique and valuable perspective.


Jason R. Hawrylak

Mr. Hawrylak, a senior associate, has handled a vast array of litigation matters, including, but not limited to, family law, divorce, support, personal injury, collection, estate, criminal defense at the Superior and Municipal Court level, wrongful termination and breach of contract matters. He also serves as the firm’s real estate attorney, assisting clients with purchases and sales.


Mitchell A. Fagen

Mr. Fagen, an associate, concentrates on property tax appeals, civil litigation and land-use development law. His tax practice focuses on representing municipalities and major industrial taxpayers. He regularly appears before the Tax Court of New Jersey and county Boards of Taxation throughout the state.


Carla Zappi

Ms. Zappi, an associate, represents our clients in a variety of areas, including the defense of insurance companies in Personal Injury Protection (“PIP”) arbitrations, plaintiff property damage litigation, residential real estate purchases and sales, creation of trusts and other estate planning documents, municipal court defense, and other general litigation matters.

Previously, she had been a law clerk to Burlington County Superior Court Presiding Family Part Judge John L. Call, Jr., and Judge John Tomasello, Ret./Rec. She reviewed motions, emergent applications and consent orders; drafted tentative decisions and orders; and prepared memoranda. Ms. Zappi graduated from Rutgers University School of Law in Camden, where she was a staff editor of the Rutgers Journal of Law & Public Policy and the recipient of the Horace Wu and Kate King Pro Bono Award for outstanding service.
